‘Your Health in Full Bloom’—A Night Celebrating Wellness, Advocacy, and Community

June 02,2025

Kym Lee never imagined she’d wake up in a pool of blood in her parking garage. But years of living with uterine fibroids and being told to “wait and see” led to a medical emergency that ended in an unexpected hysterectomy. She was rushed to the hospital, hemorrhaging from severe anemia, only to be told it was too late for other options. That moment changed her life.

Today, Kym Lee, a celebrity makeup artist, is a passionate ambassador and advocate for uterine fibroid awareness, determined that no woman feels alone, dismissed, or out of options when it comes her healthcare decisions.

This July, Fibroid Fighters builds on that mission with ‘Your Health in Full Bloom’, a health awareness event designed to spark honest conversations, expand access to information, and shift the narrative around treatment and self-advocacy.

The ‘Your Health in Full Bloom’ event takes place on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square. Reserve your spot to hear from experts and celebrities and enjoy a powerful evening of community focused on building awareness for health.

More Than Awareness — It’s About Advocacy

Since 2021, Fibroid Fighters has hosted annual awareness events to bring women together, share stories, and highlight the importance of prioritizing women’s reproductive health. These gatherings create space for connection, education, and empowerment—so more women know they’re not alone and that they have options. Last year’s event drew nearly 500 attendees in New York, demonstrating the power of community in raising awareness and support.

‘Your Health in Full Bloom’ event this year expands momentum by highlighting a broader range of health issues while keeping patient voices at the center. Through expert insights, shared experiences, and a community celebration, this event aims to create lasting connections and inspire action.

Whether you’re navigating a personal health journey or showing up in support of a loved one, the ‘Your Health in Full Bloom’ event is an opportunity to be seen, heard, and empowered.

A Night to Learn, Connect, and Celebrate Health

With inspiring speakers, live entertainment, and expert insights, ‘Your Health in Full Bloom’ is a call to take control of your health

‘Your Health in Full Bloom’ begins with a Health & Wellness Expo and Celebrity Panel on Women’s Health, running from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The panel will feature conversations led by women who have lived through the pain, frustration, and isolation that come with conditions like uterine fibroids.

The panel of celebrities is joined by medical experts who will offer insights into early intervention, self-advocacy, and treatment options that go beyond surgery. The evening will also feature a live Q&A, providing attendees with the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about accessible, non-surgical care.

These women are more than celebrities; they have experienced firsthand the debilitating and disruptive nature of chronic reproductive conditions.

  • Cynthia Bailey was the first woman to speak publicly about fibroids on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, bringing national attention to a condition often kept quiet. Her openness helped spark a larger conversation about women’s health.
  • Malorie Bailey, author and reality TV personality, shares what it’s like to face fibroids alongside her sister. Their shared journey sheds light on how fibroids can affect both personal and family life.
  • Toya Johnson offers a candid look at how fibroids affected her relationship and her plans to expand her family. While managing the pressures of reality television, she also dealt with private struggles that many women can relate to.
  • Kym Lee has spent years listening to and interviewing politicians, celebrities, and everyday individuals whose lives have been turned upside down by fibroids. She brings a unique lens to the conversation, connecting stories from diverse backgrounds.
  • Cara Maria Sorbello, a fan favorite from MTV’s The Challenge, shares how fibroids impacted her physically and emotionally as an athlete. Her perspective brings attention to a topic rarely discussed in sports and fitness spaces.

Following the panel, the evening transitions into a VIP Reception and Concert Banquet from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM, featuring dinner, entertainment, and performances by a variety of chart-topping artists. Yan Katsnelson, M.D., Founder and CEO of USA Fibroid Centers and USA Clinics Group, recognized for bringing minimally invasive procedures into underserved communities nationwide, will present a keynote address.

Join us on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Times Square. Get your tickets today and follow Fibroid Fighters on social media for updates, guest announcements, and the latest news on fibroids.
