Grammy-Nominated Artist LaTocha to Perform at “Your Health in Full Bloom” VIP Banquet in NYC

June 26,2025

As reported by AP News, Grammy-nominated artist LaTocha will perform at Fibroid Fighters’ “Your Health in Full Bloom” VIP banquet on July 24, 2025, to help raise awareness about fibroid disease and support women on their health journeys.

LaTocha, known for her success with the R&B group Xscape, is bringing her voice to a cause that hits close to home. After facing years of public scrutiny about her body and watching her father battle diabetes, she decided to focus on her own health. That journey led her to adopt a plant-based lifestyle, create a wellness brand called Made Girl, and publish her first cookbook.

Now, she’s using her platform to encourage others to take charge of their health.

“I’m at a place where I can help somebody else, and I don’t want to dim the light— I want the light to shine,” LaTocha has stated. “When you go through things, it’s not just for you. You have to be there for someone else.”

Her performance is more than just entertainment—it’s a way to connect with women who may feel alone in their struggles and to help bring more attention to a condition that affects millions.
