The Atlanta-based event, held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 aimed to raise awareness about fibroids, a common health condition impacting millions of women, while celebrating motherhood. Hosted by Cynthia Bailey, “Let’s Get Real About Fibroids” and Celebrity Make Up Artist Kym Lee, a panel discussion on fibroids with her sister Malorie Bailey and Eugenia Buie, founder of Overcomers Ministry Group provided details about how fibroid disease affect their professional and personal lives.

“We are thrilled to have received recognition from People Magazine,” said Dr. Yan Katsnelson, Founder of the Fibroid Fighters Foundation. “This national exposure will help us reach a wider audience and continue our mission of empowering women with knowledge about fibroids.”

The positive coverage extends beyond People Magazine. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution also highlighted the event, showcasing the local impact of the Fibroid Fighters Foundation.
