Fibroid Awareness Month: Empowering Women Through Education and Community

June 25,2025

July is Fibroid Awareness Month, a time to bring attention to a condition that affects 26 million women across the United States. Uterine fibroids are benign tumors that grow in or around the uterus, causing a wide range of uncomfortable symptoms. Yet, despite their prevalence, fibroids remain a topic shrouded in secrecy and misinformation.

This is where organizations like the Fibroid Fighters Foundation step in, offering vital support, education, and hope for those living with fibroids. Our mission is a commitment to empowering women that extends far beyond awareness campaigns. We are actively working to equip women with comprehensive knowledge and resources, so they can make informed decisions about their health.

The Impact of Fibroids: Fibroid Awareness Stories

A cornerstone of Fibroid Fighters’ work is encouraging women to share their personal fibroid journeys. By bravely sharing their experiences, these stories become a powerful source of support for others, helping to dismantle myths and misconceptions surrounding fibroids, and ultimately empowering more women to make informed health decisions.

Sharing Your Story

Every personal journey with fibroids can serve as a profound source of motivation and hope for other women facing similar challenges. We hope you will consider sharing your story.

A Legacy of Empowerment Beyond Awareness Events

Fibroid Fighters Foundation is dedicated to building a national network of support for women with fibroids. However, our impact goes beyond the gatherings themselves. We offer a wealth of resources on our website, including information about fibroids, treatment options, and ways to connect with other women facing similar challenges.

By focusing on education about minimally invasive treatment options, the Fibroid Fighters Foundation empowers women to truly take control of their health. We illuminate a little recognized reality: women have diverse and viable choices when it comes to fibroid treatment.

Join the Conversation: Find Hope and Support

If you or someone you know is living with fibroids, you’re not alone. The Fibroid Fighters Foundation offers a safe space to connect with others, gain valuable information, and feel empowered to make informed decisions about your health. Visit our testimonial page and join the conversation. Together, we can raise awareness and ensure that every woman living with fibroids feels supported and hopeful.
