Fibroid Awareness New York Gala

July 28,2022

WITH SPECIAL APPEARENCE BY: TT Torrez (New York’s HOT 97 & Eboni K. Williams (Real Housewives of New York)

The Fibroid Fighters Foundation, and our ambassadors, Cynthia Bailey-Hill, Kym Lee-King, and Miss Diddy are proud to host an event in New York, on July 28, 2022.

This event aims to heighten awareness about uterine fibroids, their impact, and the need for education and research that enables women to make the best healthcare decisions for themselves and their families. Our panel will include expert opinions from doctors, inspirational speakers, patients, and community advocates.

The event will also honor State Representative Kyra Harris Bolden (HD-35) who has battled with fibroids and is working to secure funding in Michigan to help with education and outreach. Help us applaud the efforts of those who have introduced recent fibroid legislation. Fibroids are a silent epidemic that affects up to 70% of white women and 80% of African American women by the age of 50.

Break the stigma around talking about fibroids and women’s reproductive health by following us on social media and using #FibroidAwarenessNY #FibroidFighters during the event.
